Sister City relationships promote communication and friendship, and provide opportunities to experience a different way of life. Exchange programs, official visits, special events and shared resources are all features of a successful Sister City relationship.
Campbelltown City has two sister-city relationships - Koshigaya in Japan and Coonamble in outback NSW.
Campbelltown developed a Sister City relationship with Coonamble as part of the Year of the Outback celebrations in 2002.
Campbelltown signed a Sister City agreement with Koshigaya City, Japan on 11 April 1984 providing an opportunity to promote mutual understanding, goodwill and networks of communication between cities.
