Meet Buttercup,

Buttercup is the definition of a little lovebug! This sweet girl enjoys spending her days lounging in her cozy bed, only moving when she’s ready to melt into your arms for some well-earned cuddles. The moment you open her condo door, she greets you with a soft purr, letting you know she’s ready for affection.

With her easy-going nature and gentle heart, Buttercup would make a wonderful addition to any home. Whether she’s snuggled up beside you or simply enjoying a lazy afternoon, she’s sure to bring warmth and happiness into your life.

Buttercup would be suitable for most homes. She would make a great mate for kids and is open to meet children of any age.

Just like all kittens, Buttercup would love a cat tree to climb on and scratch, and an assortment of toys to play with. She should be fed kitten food multiple times a day to ensure that she grows up big and strong. Buttercup is already litter trained, but it’s best to show her where the litter tray is when you get home to minimise any accidents.

If you’ve got other animals at home, that’s okay, just make sure that they have a slow & controlled introduction.

Post Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
