Meet Catalie Portman,

With her soft fur and soulful eyes, Catalie Portman is ready to steal your heart! This sweet and gentle girl has a loving nature but can be a little shy at first. She prefers a quieter home where she can truly shine, though she’s adaptable to different environments.

Catalie is curious, smart, and playful – always keeping an eye on her surroundings before deciding when to join the action. While she enjoys her independence, she absolutely adores affection and will melt under the warmth of a gentle pat. She’s happiest when receiving love and attention, making her the perfect cat for someone who enjoys quiet moments filled with purrs.

If you're an experienced cat owner looking for a loving feline friend who will reward your patience with endless affection, Catalie Portman is waiting for you!

Catalie is open to meet kids from 5 years & up. Reason for this is simply because of her tendency to be shy. She tolerates being picked up, carried & cuddles and enjoys pats all over & loves her ears and chin being scratched.

As we cannot test in this environment, we are not sure if Catalie will be ok to live with dogs. This would be up to the discretion of her new owners.

As for cats, Catalie previously lived with another cat. In fact she lived with her sister Cindy Clawford - if and when introducing Catalie to another cat we suggest a slow & gradual introduction, over a few days, to give both cats the best chance at making friends.

We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Catalie will be too sensitive for outside living. If she is outside, it will increase her chances of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. As an inside cat she can be safe & sound & live her best life.

Catalie has medium energy levels &she appears to like all toys - the cautiously curious when new toys are introduced to her but it doesn't take her long to start playing! What she truly loves is rolling around and being patted & scratched.

Catalie is not fussy with her food. She is known to eat any food offered to her. And she's not a very vocal cat either.

Catalie always uses her litter tray without any issues, too.

Staff Comments: Catalie will be a wonderful addition into any home but she will be a little nervous during her adjustment period. She'll need an understanding owner to support her. Other than that, Catalie is a sweet girl whose destined to make someone happy!

Post Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
