Meet Laramie,
Laramie is a bright little ray of sunshine with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! She’s playful, affectionate, and always curious about the world around her. Whether it’s chasing after squeaky toys or cuddling up for a nap, Laramie is all about spreading fun & happiness.
Laramie would be a wonderful addition to any home — whether yours is a lively, bustling household or a peaceful retreat. She is adaptable, friendly, and eager to learn, making her a great fit for both first-time and experienced dog owners. Laramie is affectionate and doesn't mind being picked up, carried, and cuddled so she would be suitable for families with children.
As she grows, Laramie would love to join an active family or individual who enjoys spending time outdoors. Whether it's beach trips, bushwalks, or weekend picnics, she'll be your enthusiastic little sidekick! If you’re looking for a playful, loving, and adventurous pup to complete your family, she might just be the perfect match!
Dog-friendly? Yes! Laramie is open to meeting other dogs.
Cat-friendly? Unknown - we haven’t been able to test, so it’s up to her new family to introduce her carefully.
Kid-friendly? Absolutely! Laramie open to meeting children of all ages.
Considerations:
Laramie would love a yard, with high secure fencing, so that she can play in it safely. She dreams of a home with toys - lots of toys! As well as daily exercise/walks to keep her body physically fit & her mind mentally fit. Treat/food puzzles are a great tool and great way to keep active puppy minds engaged!
Laramie is starting to explore her surrounds & is growing in confidence each & every day. However, it would be a wise move to invest in a crate & start crate training. This type of training is not only a highly valuable skill to have but is a great skill for any dog to learn and know.
Laramie should be enrolled into puppy training classes as soon as she is adopted. These classes & training will set her up for life and will allow her to learn social skills & etiquette, as well as define her manners. These classes & training will also teach her how to appropriately interact with other dogs as well as other animals & people. These training classes will also assist her new owner, as they can both learn new skills together.
If you've got other animals at home, that's okay, just make sure that they have a slow & controlled introduction.

Post Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
