Meet Winnie,

Winnie is a sweet and affectionate feline who would make a wonderful addition to any home. Whether you're a first-time cat owner or a seasoned pro, Winnie’s adaptable nature makes her a great match for all experience levels.

She enjoys a peaceful and quiet environment where she can truly relax, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be engaging! Winnie is a gentle soul with an independent streak, but she also loves attention on her own terms. She’s friendly, outgoing, and always curious about her surroundings. A little stubborn at times, she knows exactly what she wants - but at the end of the day, she’s happiest when she’s curled up in a cozy spot, soaking in the love.

If you're looking for a loving cat who brings a perfect mix of affection, curiosity, and a hint of laziness, Winnie is the cat for you!

Winnie is a genuine sweetie pie & she open to meet kids from 8 years an up - not to say that she's not good with younger kids, we just feel that she would be more comfy around older kids who will understand her need for some R&R. Winnie needs a little convincing when it comes to being picked up, bit she enjoys gentle pats along her body, her ears being massaged, her chin being scratched and she even likes her belly being rubbed - she'll happily roll over to expose her belly for you to touch.

Unfortunately, Winnie is not suitable to live with dogs or cats.

We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Winnie loves being inside where she has a comfy bed. If she is outside, it will increase her chances of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. As an inside cat she can be safe & sound & live her best life.

Winnie has low energy levels & she doesn't seem that interested in toys. But we can confirm that she is a pro at making biscuits!

Winnie is not fussy with her food either. She is known to eat any food offered to her. And she's not a very vocal cat either (unless she sees another cat).

Winnie always uses her litter tray without any issues, too.

Staff Comments: Winnie may not like other cats but she loves the people around her. She flirtatiously greets you in her condo & you can hear her purring. She's a gentle girl who approached you, then lures you in for belly rubs. She loves her tummy being rubbed.

Post Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
