Campbelltown City Centre Transformation Improvements to enable pedestrian friendly spaces to encourage events and activities to revitilise the Queen Street Precinct. The focus is on Lithgow Street and the 'On Q' plaza area adjoining Queen Street.
Campbelltown Health and Education Precinct (CHEP) This project will identify and deliver active transport infrastructure and wayfinding initiatives to improve connections between key facilities with the Campbelltown Health and Education Precinct (CHEP), including Campbelltown Hospital, Macarthur Clinical School, Macarthur Medical Research Centre, WSU Campbelltown, and TAFE Campbelltown.
Connected Campbelltown Connected Campbelltown proposes to install new shared use pathways in 4 parks and reserves across the city, leveraging existing shared use pathways to provide greater connectivity, and adding to its functionality as a recreation and active travel option.
Dharawal Nature Play Space The Dharawal Nature Play space will be a recreational play facility inspired by Aboriginal culture, the local environment and people. The proposed regional-level nature play space within the Simmos Beach Parkland will provide a unique play area surrounded entirely by a natural bushland river setting, taking full advantage of the surrounding cultural context to celebrate Aboriginal cultures
Glenfield Town Centre Beautification and Public Art The Glenfield Beautification Project is a series of public domain works that aim to revitalise Glenfield Town Centre so it can better support a diverse mix of uses including retail, commercial, residential, health facilities, community uses and public open space. New shared use pathways, pedestrian crossings, landscaping, pavement treatments, street furnishings and public art will be included.
Glenfield Urban Bike Park Construction of a new bike style track within Kennett Park, Glenfield, accommodating users with different skill levels across a range of wheeled activities.
Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre Upgrades The Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre Project involves the extension of the grandstand seating area and shade solutios and reconfiguration of the existing cafe. This project will deliver benefits for the local and regional community, which services 35 local schools, 2 swim clubs, sporting zones and the South West Sydney Metropolitan School Sports Association.
Hurley Park Early Stories This project at Hurley Park aims to increase access to and the amenity of this significant historic open space in the centre of the City by restoring the historical structures, and by adding interpretive signage and public art, give life to the social narratives which are an important part of the City's identity.
Ingleburn Town Centre Transformation This project will deliver a transformational Town Centre beautification and cultural art infrastructure program including lighting, safety, greening, event readiness, public art, traffic management and amenity improvements in the Ingleburn Town Centre in partnership with the Ingleburn Chamber of Commerce.
Kanbyugal Parklands - Mountain Bike Park The Kanbyugal Mountain Bike Park Project aims to convert an underutilised parcel of land into an accessible, sanctioned and fully functioning mountain bike facility providing a range of skill levels for enthusiasts of all ages.
Leumeah Youth Precinct The Leumeah Youth Precinct will incorporate the construction of a multipurpose court, flexible space for activations, parkour and boulder wall elements and an upgrade to the existing skate park surface including public art. The precinct will see an upgrade for all picnic and hang out elements including shade structures, BBQ and seating.
Macarthur Recreation Trail We have a vision for a recreation trail that traverses the local government area linking a range of open and natural spaces, transport nodes and major town centres. Sections of the pathway are complete.
Minto Multicultural Community Centre Enhancement The Minto Multicultural Community Centre Enhancement project provides an upgrade to an existing facility. It builds on learnings and partnerships created during COVID-19 and provides an improved and innovated space for a range of programs targeting both youth suicide, people experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, family domestic violence, social or cultural isolation.
Multipurpose Community Facilities Hub The Multipurpose Community Facilities Hub repurposes a Campbelltown City Council community hall to innovately provide the capital infrastructure required for local services and community groups. Outdoor Fitness Facilities Program The Outdoor Fitness Facilities Program comprises of new and upgraded outdoor fitness equipment at 4 open space sites to support local community health and wellbeing.
Railway Parade Bridge Upgrade Upgrade existing bridge over Bunbury Curran Creek to a two lane bridge, Railway Parade, Glenfield with the provision of shared pathways on both sides. This is a major connection to Glenfield railway station and will significantly improve public transport as well as active transport access to the rail network and surrounding businesses/industrial precinct.
Simmos Beach Parklands Simmos Beach Parklands will enhance a quality green and open space with new community infrastructure to support passive recreation, outdoor learning areas, amenity upgrades, existing footpath network, new viewing decks, informative signage and new trees and plantings to provide long lasting benefits to the community.
Sports Centre of Excellence This project proposes the delivery and management of a Sport and Health Centre of Excellence at Leumeah, within the confines of Campbelltown Sports Stadium.Working with Western Sydney University (WSU) as a Core Partner, and multiple soon to be engaged partners.
