Aviary on Q: Campbelltown's Community Space for Workshops, Arts, and Gatherings

Following recent community consultation, we’re thrilled to announce that Aviary on Q was selected as the chosen name for this space. The aviary reference is in response to community members sharing stories about this space being filled with birds throughout its' history.

This pergola-like structure, which has stood since the 1980s, was recently uncovered from overgrown bushes and vines and is currently being transformed into a vibrant community space.

Current Features and Bookable Space

The second stage of enhancements is underway, with the intention to add more greenery to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Aviary on Q is now available as a bookable venue for workshops, arts, crafts, and community activities. Complete with tables and chairs, power and access to water the space is free to book for community groups, providing an accessible location on Queen Street.

Seasonal and Future Additions

In December, Aviary on Q will be decorated for Christmas, adding festive cheer to the heart of Campbelltown.

Future improvements may include a roof or shade material, allowing the space to be enjoyed year-round.

Aviary on Q represents our commitment to developing community-friendly spaces that celebrate creativity and togetherness. We invite you to experience this unique part of Campbelltown’s history and culture.
