Marsden Park is a district-level playground located in Park Central, Campbelltown.

The new playground facility at Marsden Park is now complete. Maintenance and minor activities will still occur throughout the rest of the year. 

Additional footpath works will be undertaken in February 2025.

Playspace Key elements

  • Enhanced play equipment: Climbing ropes, a large basket swing, flying fox, trampolines, toddlers swing set, see saw and slide.
  • Play areas: New water play area and natural play area with balance beams and steppers.
  • New amenities: Seating areas, picnic shelters and BBQ areas.
  • Shade: Semi-mature shade tree plantings and shade sails.
  • Safety enhancements: Safety fencing around the playground and pedestrian entry points.
  • Accessibility: New accessible entry pathways.

We heard you

During our community consultation, an overwhelming number of people asked for more shade, a flying fox and additional slides and seating.

These elements were incorporated into the project design. 

Project funding

This $1.1 million project is proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with Campbelltown City Council.
