Project summary

This project will deliver a Sport and Health Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Leumeah, within the Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Working with Western Sydney University (WSU) as a Core Partner, and other partners in sports, health or education industries, the Centre of Excellence will be specifically designed and developed to enable the provision of pathways for the development of sporting talent in the fields of elite sport, sports science and research.  The Centre of Excellence will support the enhancement of dedicated female programs and facilities to improve pathways for women and girls, whilst aiming to improve the community's overall health and wellbeing through increased participation in sporting and recreational activities.

Project is estimated to be completed by end of 2027.

This project will be funded through the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program.
