Project summary

This project will see the existing bridge over Bunbury Curran Creek at Railway Parade, Glenfield upgraded to two lanes with the provision of a shared pathway. This is a major connection to Glenfield railway station and will significantly improve public transport as well as active transport access to the rail network and surrounding businesses/industrial precinct.

During construction, there will be some impacts to pedestrian and vehicle access, and detours are likely to be in place. As the project progresses, further consultation will be undertaken with those impacted and any changes, including duration will be communicated to community and road users.

Project is estimated to be completed by early 2027.

This project will be funded through the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program.
