Environmental Grant Programs

Campbelltown City Council regularly seeks grant funding opportunities through both State and Commonwealth government agency programs.

Grant funding allows Council to further develop a range of natural resource management projects and initiatives in order to deliver positive environmental outcomes for the local area.

• To date, a number of funding programs have been undertaken by Council. Funding has been used to restore and rehabilitate degraded areas, protect important ecosystems and habitats, enhance the quality of specific environmental resources, and implement a range of sustainability and education programs.
• The success of the various programs rely heavily on the collaboration of a number of key stakeholders and organisations to deliver quality environmental projects that engage with the community. Stakeholders include any person(s) or group with an interest in the project, and may include: state government agencies, community action groups, Aboriginal land councils, local schools and businesses.
• Council has successfully been awarded funding to develop a range of environmental projects, including undertaking works at Council Reserves. A list of grant funding programs can be accessed through the links below.
