Residents are invited to help clean up one of Campbelltown’s most diverse wildlife corridors at Fishers Ghost Creek Reserve during Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday 2 March.

The Bradbury Preschool Bushcare group will be hosting the event from 9am to 12pm to help clear rubbish from the reserve.

“Campbelltown is known for its stunning bushland, and we all have a role to play in keep it looking pristine and beautiful so I encourage everyone to roll their sleeves up and help out on Clean Up Australia Day,” Mayor Darcy Lound said.

“This event is being hosted by our Bushcare team and our Environmental Citizens of the Year at Bradbury Preschool, who do great work removing invasive weeds and keeping the reserve clean throughout the year as part of the Bradbury Bushcare Group,” he said.

People attending should ensure they wear enclosed shoes and appropriate sun-safe clothing. Refreshments will be provided on the day.
