Emergency Ready Day is back at Koshigaya Park this September

Emergency Ready Day is coming to Koshigaya Park on Sunday 22 September, from 11am to 3pm.
This day encourages residents to consider their emergency preparedness and connect with local emergency services.
Residents can expect a day filled with family-fun including, free face-painting and interactive activities with emergency services, plus trucks, vehicles, and equipment to explore.
“Our Emergency Ready Day is a terrific opportunity to directly interact with local emergency service representatives.” Dr Mayor George Greiss said.
“It offers the chance for residents to gain expert insight and personalised advice on their emergency plans.” Dr Mayor George Greiss said.
“I encourage everyone to come out and enjoy a day of educational activities and a free barbeque lunch while strengthening their understanding of safety strategies.” Dr Greiss said.
A joint Emergency Preparedness Brochure will be launched by Campbelltown City Council and Southwest Sydney Primary Health Network on the day. The brochure informs people about important health information during an emergency, and can be collected at Emergency Ready Day.
Emergency Ready Day will include informational stalls hosted by emergency service representatives, including:
- NSW Police
- Fire & Rescue NSW
- NSW SES
- Rural Fire Service NSW
- The Australian Red Cross
