Campbelltown to host Matildas live viewing site

Everyone is invited to celebrate the Matildas historic FIFA Women’s World Cup semi-final against England at a live viewing site at the Campbelltown Athletics Centre.

People can bring their picnic blankets and chairs to watch the match on the screen tomorrow night (Wednesday 16 August).

Gates open at 6.30pm  with the match kicking off at 8pm.

“The Matildas performances at this World Cup have captured the imagination of Australians everywhere, including Campbelltown’s own Alanna Kennedy,” Mayor George Greiss said.

“So let your family and friends know and come and enjoy the game with fellow fans at Campbelltown Athletics Centre tomorrow night,” Cr Greiss said.

Light food and refreshments will be available on the night. The event is alcohol free.
