Bikes and Helmets

Campbelltown Bicycle Education Centre makes learning how to ride fun for preschool, primary, secondary schools and for children/adults with special needs.

Our education programs are run by qualified instructors. From an enclosed open space that has a mini main road circuit, simulating a real life experience, students learn how to ride in a safe and controlled environment.

Program duration and content is flexible and can be adjusted to suit your needs, covering the topics:

  • Bicycle education (including current Road rules)
  • Experience riding on a road circuit with simulating road conditions
  • Enhanced riding skill abilities as an individual and within a group
  • Road safety
  • Helmet education
  • Safety on wheels
  • Pedestrian education
  • Basic bicycle maintenance guide.

When is the centre available for school programs?

  • Monday to Friday during school terms
  • Education Program - 10am to 2pm 
  • Inclusion Education Program and Early Childhood Education Program - 10am to 12pm or 12:30pm to 2:30pm 

Cost

School Education Program: $248 for up to 25 children (4 hour program)

Inclusion Education Program: $130 for up to 15 children (2 hour program)

Early Childhood Education Program: $130 for up to 10 children (2 hour program)

Cancellation fee - less than 21 days notice: $70

How do you make a booking?

  • Download and complete the School Education Program Application Form(PDF, 119KB)
  • Email your completed form to us
  • A member of our team will be in contact to organise a suitable time based on your preferred dates and the centre's availability
  • Once confirmed, you will receive a confirmation letter and invoice
  • An initial deposit payment will be required to be paid within 7 days of the confirmation letter being sent to you and the remaining balance will be due no less than 21 days from your first booking date.

What do we need to bring?

  • Participants must provide their own food and drinks
  • It is recommended that you bring your own safe helmet
  • Wear enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing for bicycle riding
  • First Aid Kit to meet the requirements of your student's needs
  • Vending machine facilities are available for snacks and cold drinks.
