Fire Operational Plans
Reserve fire operational plans are being developed for Council-managed bushland reserves.
Fire operational plans are designed to help:
- Protect human life and property
- Promote the conservation of biodiversity
- Protect Aboriginal and European heritage sites
- Increase the safety of firefighters in the bushland
Council's reserve fire operational plans are prepared in accordance with the plan of management for the park or reserve and in consultation with the NSW Rural Fire Service and Fire and Rescue NSW.
