Youth
Young people are an important part of the Campbelltown community. There are many opportunities for every young person to get involved in something that excites them within their local Campbelltown area.
Get involved
Our Community Life Team provides a range of opportunities for young people to get involved all year round including supporting and collaborating with youth focused community organisations locally.
Check out our What's On section and follow Campbelltown City Council on Facebook and Instagram to find out what's happening for young people 12 to 24 years in and around the Campbelltown area.
We also provide a range of opportunities for young people to participate and get involved in a variety of aspects of community life. For more information please contact our Community Life team on 02 4645 4826 or email community.life@campbelltown.nsw.gov.au.

Campbelltown Youth Plan 2024 - 2030
This Plan provides the strategic direction to 2030 for the delivery of contemporary youth services, programs, activities and events that meet the needs of a diverse population. It is a plan for Council to work alongside the local youth sector, schools, young people and the community to make the Campbelltown LGA an even better place.
A CALL TO ACTION
Campbelltown City Council supports the Macarthur Homelessness Steering Committee’s call for a youth refuge in Macarthur by the end of 2026. The rate of homelessness among young people across the Macarthur region is significantly higher than the NSW average, and yet there is no youth refuge for young people aged 16 and 17 experiencing homelessness.
