Join us as Campbelltown says NO to domestic and family violence on Friday 22 November from 9am, for the Driving Out Violence Convoy. 

The Driving Out Violence convoy is an opportunity for the whole community to show support for the elimination of domestic and family violence. The Driving Out Violence convoy kick starts 16 Days of Activism, a global movement to prevent and end violence against women and children.

Show your support

The convoy will travel throughout the Campbelltown Local Government Area (LGA), sharing the message that "Campbelltown says NO to domestic and family violence". The community is invited to line the streets as the convoy passes to show your support for the elimination of domestic violence.

The convoy is made up of vehicles from Police, NSW Fire and Rescue, SES, C91.3, Council, community organisations, West Group Macarthur and West Tigers.

Throughout the day, the convoy will stop at Minto MallCampbelltown Mall and Macarthur Square, where members of the Campbelltown Domestic Violence Committee will have activities for the community and information stalls to share resources and support. 

Routes and Stops

9am - Convoy Departs Wests Leagues Club

The convoy will:

  • Drive past: Claymore – Blairmount Public School, Eagle Vale High School, Claymore Public School, Claymore Opp Hub 
  • Drive though: Eagle Vale – Eagle Vale Market Place
  • Campbelltown Rd to Macdonald Rd
  • Drive past: Macquarie Fields – Macquarie Fields Public School and Shops
  • Drive through: Glenquarie – Shopping Centre and James Meehan High School

 

9:30am - Minto Mall

The convoy will be driving:

  • past Campbelltown City Council Civic Centre,
  • through Campbelltown's CBD
  • through Queen Street

     

 

11 to 11:30am - Campbelltown Mall

The convoy will be driving:

  • through Rosemeadow
  • past Rosemeadow Public School,
  • past Rosemeadow Marketplace,
  • past Ambarvale High School
  • through Glen Alpine

 

1pm to 1.30pm - Macarthur Square

The convoy will be going through Blaxland Road to get to it's final destination. The convoy will conclude at Macarthur Square.
