Local Government Election - In Person Candidate Information Briefing

Campbelltown City Council, together with LGNSW, will be facilitating a Pre-Election Candidate briefing for those interested in becoming a Councillor to gain a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities as an elected member of Council.

This briefing is designed to provide those interested in being a candidate at the Local Government election on 14 September 2024, with the information they will need to make a considered decision.

Councillors can play a key role in making decisions that influence both the short-term concerns and long-term strategic direction of their local community. It is a big commitment, and prospective Councillors need to know what will be expected of them – the challenges, responsibilities and opportunities.
