About Redfern Creek Bushcare

If you have a passion for the outdoors and would love to pick up some new skills, then our Redfern Creek Bushcare volunteer group is perfect for you. As part of our Bushcare group you will have the ability to gain more of an understanding of our local waterways, as well as our local birds, insects, plants and wildlife.

Redfern Creek is an important wildlife corridor that runs through the Ingleburn and Macquarie Fields precinct.

If you enjoy being around interesting and like-minded people, as well as doing your part and helping our local environment, our Bushcare group runs once a month at Milton Park. Our Bushcare work site at Milton Park supports a range of wildlife from mature forest red gums to water dragons and a nearby significant colony of grey-headed flying foxes.

Experience isn’t necessary to attend these events as you will be provided with all the training you need.

Be sure to register your interest before attending one of our working bees.
