The Campbelltown Online Writers Group - Facilitated by Sunny Grace

If you want to be a writer it’s time to pick up the pen in the Campbelltown Writer’s Group Online.

The group will write short exercises in prose or poetry, share them with the group and workshop their writing. We will talk formal points of writing as the need arises. You can improve your writing and explore your creativity in a supportive and relaxed environment. This term we will be focusing on honing our craft for entry into the Fishers Ghost Writing Prize.

Sunny Grace is a writer/director who tells stories about strange families, gender and the environment. A NIDA graduate with the MFA in Stage and Screen (2016) her short films, Trigger Happy and Charging have won numerous awards. Her 2016 play The Angelica Complex is published by Australian Plays and she was awarded the Erin Thomas Prize for Playwriting ( 2022). She worked in the script dept of of TV show Year Of for Stan (2022). Her feature films, The Bower Girl (AWG insite award long list) and Never the Bride (AACTA regional landscape finalist) are currently in development.
